History
The initial version of Draw & Guess was built within a couple of weeks by Marco Hoffmann as a small game intended for a few friends.
A few months after the initial release, Draw & Guess saw a sudden surge of players after a viral trend of players showcasing their drawings for certain challenges swept social media.
The game sold over 2 million copies on Steam during the first few months of release.
In 2022, Acureus began work on an overhaul to the visuals, gameplay, and networking infrastructure. This update was release for free for all players in February 2024.
Draw & Guess has sold over 3.5 copies as of February 2024.
